Welcome to Festive Flavors! How many kinds of Paneer curries have you tried? Today we are going to make Makhana Paneer. Makhana or puffed-up lotus seeds have a very delicate flavor and are full of health benefits and a great way to enrich your curries. They can be used in powder form or as a whole. Here we have used them as a whole. The subtle flavor is divine and no wonder it is called the food of Gods. What better way to have it than with Paneer. Try this recipe and you will agree.

Ingredients -
 Paneer - 750 grams
2. Makhana - 1 cup
3. Green peas - 3/4 cups
4. Onions - 1 cup sliced
5. Tomatoes - 1 chopped
6. Ginger Garlic paste - 1 and half tablespoon
7. Bay leaves - 2
8. Cinnamon - 1 piece
9. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
10. Cloves - 4-6
11. Green Cardamom - 6-8
12. Green chilies - 4-5 chopped
13. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
14. Coriander powder - 1 tbsp.
15. Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp
16. Garam masala - 2 tsp
17. Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
18. Water 1 +1/2 cup 
19. Oil - 4 tbsp.
20. Salt to taste
